Women of all ages are invited to engage in a time of Bible study, prayer, and service. Presently, the Hopeful Spirits (because we are the women of Spirit of Hope!) meet every other Thursday from 2:00 pm – 3:45 pm. We also organize special activities throughout the year.
Presently, our women are studying “The Screwtape Letters” by C.S. Lewis. You are welcome to join us anytime as we listen to a chapter and discuss it together. We also spend time in prayer for one another and in prayer for others. Please contact Carol Palin or Pastor Wendy for more information.
The Secret Sisters is a prayer and support ministry by women and for women. Every February, we host a brunch for all the women of the congregation (and their guests). Those who wish to participate in the Secret Sisters program will draw a name. They will then commit to praying for that woman for one year. Often, Secret Sisters will exchange secret cards or gifts (sender unknown, of course!) at birthdays, Christmas, etc. (though this is not required). At the next February brunch, we have a reveal party so that women can then connect in person.
It is never too late, though, to join the Secret Sisters program. If you would like to participate, please contact Pastor Wendy (who often works as a “Secret Santa by helping to ensure cards/gifts exchanged remain a secret!).
